<br />August23,2005 <br /> <br />SECTION 4. PROCEDURE FOR MAKING AND RECORDING PLATS <br /> <br />SECTION 4-7. FEES. <br />There shall be a charge for the submission of each subdivision plat or revision thereto for <br />approval or disapproval pursuant to this Ordinance. At the time of filing the preliminary plat, <br />the applicant shall pay the appropriate fee according to the current fee schedule. No plat <br />shall be processed until the fee has been paid which fee is not refundable. to the Treasurer <br />the following amounts: fifty dollars ($50.00) plus ten dollars ($10) per lot for minor <br />subdivisions and nvo hundred dollars ($200.00) plus tV/enty five dollars ($25.00) per lot for <br />major subdivisions. At the time of filing a subdivision revision request, the applicant shall <br />pay to the Treasurer the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) plus ten dollars ($10.00) per lot. <br /> <br />Council considered business from the floor. Vincent Stone of 1229 Sam <br /> <br />Lions Trail, expressed his concern about the city purchasing the cable <br /> <br />franchise and indicated he had sent a letter to Council. Council Member Roop <br /> <br />thanked him for his letter, indicating that he made a lot of good points and that <br /> <br />the City Manager could bring him up to date if he would like to meet with him. <br /> <br />Melody Cartwright of 713 Jefferson Street spoke concerning a tree on her <br /> <br />property that had been cut by the Electric Department and how the situation <br /> <br />had been handled. Eric Monday, City Attorney, explained to her that once she <br /> <br />had indicated she intended to sue the city on the matter, she was viewed as an <br /> <br />adverse party and all her communication at that point should have gone <br /> <br />through him. Ms. Cartwright then indicated that she was not going to sue. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Reynolds then instructed her to put it in writing and get to Attorney <br /> <br />Monday and then dialogue with the City administration could continue to try <br /> <br />and resolve the issue. <br /> <br />Vince Stone returned to the podium and also expressed his concern <br /> <br />about trees being cut in the City away from the power lines as well as not being <br /> <br />to access the "Contact Us" link on the city's website. <br />
