Martinsviile needs better parks

We are eighth graders at Marlinsville
.~tiddle School, working on a creative
problem.solving project. We are trying to
solve issues with our city's parks.
We believe M.~rfins~'ille needs a bi.er
and better park for People to enjoy, Addi-
t~onaiL¥, our current parks need resin.
vations. An ideal park would include the
following ~ings' wal king and bike Cra ils.
swing sets. )ungle ~'m, a shaded area to
relax, picnic area, clean restronms.
slides, seating areas and an open. grassy
field.
We also are concerned about the
trash in the parks. We think that it would
be excellent to have recycling bins. A
9ark like this wouln not only ser~'e par-
ents with young children, but the elder-
ly as well. l*,iartinsx'ille would benefit
greatly fi'om better parks in the city.
April Sin~e, Jennifer Trotter, lan Dil-
lard.
