Council Member <br />Dallas stated he did not believe the lease amount was sufficient and <br />would therefore oppose approval of this item. In response to a <br />question from Council Member Haskell, Mr. Cashwell stated the Agreement <br /> <br />recovered the City's costs, but did not generate a profit. Upon <br />motion, duly seconded and by a vote of 4-1 (Council Member Dallas <br />opposing), Council authorized the City Manager to execute the <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Council then conducted a public hearing on the City's advertised Budget <br />for Fiscal Year 1997-98, including establishing tax rates.
