Mayor Teague declared the Public Hearing open. With no response, he declared the Public Hearing closed. Vice Mayor Roop moved to proceed with doubling the proposed funding for demolition and critical care programs of $57,500; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. Vice Mayor Roop asked how much impact would vehicle decal and meals tax increases have. Mr. Bartlett replied approximately $80,000 if the vehicle decal was increased to the State maximum, and approximately $215,000 if the meals tax was increased. A discussion ensued regarding the impact to the FY06 budget and fund balance rationale.
