Mayor Teague declared the Public Hearing open. With no <br />response, he declared the Public Hearing closed. Vice Mayor Roop moved to proceed <br />with doubling the proposed funding for demolition and critical care programs of $57,500; <br />the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members <br />voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br />Vice Mayor Roop asked how much impact would vehicle decal and meals tax increases <br />have. Mr. Bartlett replied approximately $80,000 if the vehicle decal was increased to <br />the State maximum, and approximately $215,000 if the meals tax was increased. A <br />discussion ensued regarding the impact to the FY06 budget and fund balance rationale. <br />Council Member Ferrill moved to adopt Ordinance 2004-10 on first reading; the motion <br />was duly seconded and carried by the following roll call vote, with all members voting: <br />Vote 4 - 1; Yeas (4) - Cobbe, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (1) - Dallas.
