April 20, 2004 <br /> <br />Coalition; the motion was seconded. Vice Mayor Roop moved to table the main motion <br />until the addt ona nformat~on requested by Mayor Teague is presented; the motion <br />was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 3 - <br />2; Yeas (3) - Dallas, Roop, Teague; Nays (2) - Cobbe, Ferrill. Council and the Board <br />directed Mayor Teague and Board Vice Chairman Paula Bumette to consolidate <br />questions from both groups for the Coalition. The Coalition members were recognized. <br />Council Member Dallas questioned whether The Harvest Foundation funds are public or <br />private. Eric Monday, City Attorney, will report back at the next regular meeting. <br /> <br /> Council considered authorizing the Interim City Manager to transfer $77,000 from <br />09427306 508500 - Refuse Fund/General Expense/Contribution to Fund Balance to <br />09425302 508201 - Refuse Fund/Landfill/Machinery & Equipment. Wade Bartlett, <br />Interim City Manager, stated that the daily use of this truck is required by the <br />Department of Environmental Quality. The current truck is over four years old and is <br />beginning to experience problems. A new truck is approximately $200,000. The landfill <br />post-closure plan would including selling both trucks. Vice Mayor Roop moved to <br />authorize such action; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, <br />with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; <br />Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before Council during their special <br />meeting, upon motion by Council Member Ferrill, duly,seconded, by unanimous vote, <br />Mayor Teague declared the meeting adjourned at 7:09 P.
