Xo <br /> <br />Reconsider adoption, on first reading, of Ordinance No. 2004-5 amending <br />Section 12-11 of the City Code relating to reimbursement of expenses <br />incurred in responding to DUI and other traffic incidents. (See Enclosure <br />#8) <br /> <br />Reconsider adoption, on fn-st reading, of Ordinance No. 2004-6 adding <br />Section 13-19.1 to Chapter 13 of the City Code relating to giving the <br />police department the authority to enforce trespassing on real property in <br />the absence of the property owner. (See Enclosure #9) <br /> <br />Consider adoption, on emergency basis, of Ordinance No. 2004-7 <br />amending Section 24-6 Archery Season for Deer of the City Code. <br />Enclosure # 10) <br /> <br />(See <br /> <br />Consider adoption of a Resolution requesting the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation to add eligible lane mileage for calculating street <br />maintenance payments to the City as a result of adding A Street from <br />First Street to Second Street. (See Enclosure #11) <br /> <br />Review of current City Code as it relates to the regulation of dangerous <br />dogs. (See Enclosure #12) <br /> <br />Conduct a public hearing and authorize the Interim City Manager to sign <br />the application regarding a Community Development Block Grant for the <br />rehabilitation/demolition of a number of single-family, owner-occupied <br />units in various neighborhoods throughout the City of Martinsville. <br /> <br />XV. Business from the Floor <br /> <br />This section of the Council meeting provides citizens the <br />opportunity to discuss matters, which are not listed on the printed <br />agenda. In that the Council meetings are broadcast on Martinsvilie <br />Government Television, the City Council is responsible for the <br />content of the programming. Thus, any person wishing to bring a <br />matter to Council's attention under this Section of the agenda <br />should: (1) come to the podinm and state their name and address; <br />(2) state the matter that they wish to discuss and what action they <br />would like for Council to take; (3) limit their remarks to five <br />minutes; and (4) refrain from making any personal references or <br />accusations of a factvally false and/or malicious nature. <br /> <br />XVI.
