December 9, 2003 <br /> <br />Consultation with legal counsel pertaining to specific legal matters <br />requiring the provision of legal advice by counsel, an authorized by <br />Subsection 7. <br />A personnel matter under the jurisdiction of the City Council, as <br />authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br /> <br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br /> <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said <br /> <br />Session. Upon return to Open Session, Council took the following actions: <br /> <br /> A. 2. Council Member Ferrill moved to reappoint Lucy T. Moore, of <br /> 704 Windsor Lane, to a two-year parent representative term on the <br /> Comprehensive Services Act Community Policy and Management <br /> Team, ending December 31, 2005i the motion was duly seconded <br /> and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - <br /> 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - <br /> None. <br /> A. 4. Vice Mayor Roop moved to reappoint Clarence Monday, <br /> Assistant Fire Chief, to a three-year term on the Western Virginia <br /> Emergency Medical Services Council, ending January 31, 2007; <br /> the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, <br /> with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, <br /> Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their regular <br /> <br />meeting, upon motion by Council Member Ferrill, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, <br /> <br />Mayor Teague declared the meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.
