This section shall be repealed automatically at noon, April 1, 2004. Council considered establishing a schedule and location for its FY03-04 Town Meetings. The advantages and disadvantages were discussed regarding conducting the town meetings in Council Chamber versus in the neighborhoods. By general consensus with no vote taken, Council agreed to seek citizens' input and set the schedule and location at its August 12, 2003, meeting. Council considered business from the floor. Klm Adkins, of the Martinsville- Henry Chamber of Commerce, announced that the State of the City and County will be presented on July 10, 2003, and that the joint School Boards' merger subcommittee will hold a meeting on July 14, 2003, to receive the study's phase two results.
