Water Line Construction: <br />Installation of approximately 14,216 L.F. of 2", 4" 6" and 8" water lines with 82 residential laterals <br />and 12 fire hydrants <br /> <br />Well Development: <br />Drilling for 2 wells near Rt. 97 to produce 56 gpm well water capacity <br /> <br />Water Storage Tank: <br />Erect a 100,000 gallon ground water storage tank (not elevated) near Ward's Knob to provide a <br />two-hour, 500 gpm fire demand plus VDH required 200 gallons per residential connection <br /> <br />Imerim Assistance: <br />ReInoval of approximately 15 junk cars and 3 illegal dumping sites <br /> <br />The activities as planned will not cause any permanent displacement fi:om or conversion of <br />occupiable structures. The City will work with the grant management staff; engineers/architects, <br />potential project beneficiaries, area residents, and the Department of Homing and Community <br />Development to insure that any changes in project activities do not cause any permanent <br />displacement from or conversion of oecupiable structures. <br /> <br />In all cases, an occupiable or habitable structure will be defined as a dwelling that meets local <br />building codes or a dwelling that can be rehabilitated to meet HUD Section 8 Housing Quality <br />Standards for $25,000 or less. <br /> <br />Earl B.
