Council Member Cobbe moved to adopt the Constitutional Officers' proposed <br />budget adjustments as presented; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br />following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, <br />Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. Council scheduled a work session to discuss further <br />budget adjustments for Wednesday, January 8, 2003, 11:00 A. M. <br /> <br /> Council considered business from the floor. Mrs. Krauss announced that the <br />field tax representative will be available by appointment in Martinsville due to the closing <br />of his office in Danville. John Sanders, of 308 Starling Avenue, encouraged Council to <br />move forward with any budget cuts. <br /> <br /> Leon Towarnicki, Director of Public Works, presented the recycling report for the <br />three-month period of August through October 2002. <br /> <br /> Council Member Ferrill moved to adopt the following Consent Agenda items; the <br />motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: <br />Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None: <br /> <br /> A.
