April 30, 2002 A joint meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, Board of Supervisors of the County of Henry, Virginia, and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) of the County of Henry, Virginia, was held on April 30, 2002, in the Administrative Conference Room of the Henry County Administration Building, beginning at 5:00 P. M., with Mayor Mark Crabtree presiding. The purpose of the meeting was to consider (1) a Resolution endorsing the submission of an application to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for an Industrial Site Development Fund Grant and (2) an amended Revenue Sharing Agreement between Henry County, City of Martinsvi~le, and the Henry County IDA. Council Members present included: Mark A. Crabtree, Mayor; M. Gene Teague, Vice Mayor; and Council Members Bruce H. T. Dallas, J. Ronald Ferrill, and Terry L. Roop. The following Resolution was unanimously adopted by the County Board of Supervisors and the Henry County IDA. Council Member Ferrill moved to adopt the following Resolution; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None: WHEREAS, Henry County, the Henry County Industrial Development Authority and the City of Martinsville have joined together to promote economic development of the area, and WHEREAS, Henry County, the Henry County IDA and the City of Martinsville, in partnership, wish to apply for Virginia Industrial Site Development Funds (ISDF); and WHEREAS, Henry County, the Henry County IDA and the City of Martinsville wish to pursue development of a joint project involving certain lots in the Patriot Centre at Beaver Creek business park; and WHEREAS, the localities commit to providing a dollar for dollar amount with at least 25 percent in local cash; and WHEREAS, a Preliminary Engineering Report has been prepared:
