February 26, 2002 <br /> <br />225 <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br /> <br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br /> <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br /> <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said <br /> <br />Session. Upon return to Open Session, Council took the following actions: <br /> <br />Council Member Ferrill moved to reappoint Jeff Joyce, of the <br />Public Works Department, Tim Porter, of the Police <br />Department, and Lori Biggs, of the Sheriff's Department, to <br />two-year terms on the Clean Community Board, ending <br />February 29, 2004; the motion was duly seconded and <br />carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote <br />5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; <br />Nays (0) - None. <br />Council Member Roop moved to appoint George T. Hayfield, <br />Associate Planner, to a three-year public official term on the <br />West Piedmont Disability Services Board, ending in 2005; <br />the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following <br />vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - <br />Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their regular <br /> <br />meeting, upon motion by Council Member Dallas, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, <br /> <br />Mayor Crabtree declared the meeting adjourned at 9:48 P.
