Amend the City's FY 2001-2002 Budget to establish an Office of Economic <br /> Development.. . .. <br /> <br /> COuncil considered the need to meet in Closed Session. I~ aC(~°rdance with <br /> <br />Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion <br />by Council Member Roop, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council <br /> <br />convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matter: <br /> <br />A. Consultation with legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br /> <br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br /> <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said <br /> <br />Session. Upon return to Open Session, Council took no action. <br /> Council Member Dallas moved to reconsider the previous motion approving the <br /> <br />Consent Agenda; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with <br />all members voting: Vote 3 - 2; yeas (3) - Dallas, Roop, Teague; Nays (2) - Crabtree, <br /> <br /> <br />
