Dallas <br /> <br />I. Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of <br />April 24 and 30,2001. (See Enclosure #l-a and #l-b) <br /> <br />II. Business from the floor. <br /> <br />III. Consider awarding a contract for renovations to the Municipal <br />Building for Martinsville General District Court space and <br />appropriating funding. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council award a construction <br />contract to Nichols Construction of Collinsville for $306,686, that <br />being the lowest of four bids received on this project. The total <br />project cost will be $390,000, therefore we recommend that <br />Council approve the following transfers and appropriations: <br />ELECTRIC FUND - $130,000 - Transfer from: <br />14103938-462101-Contribution from Fund Balance/Electric to <br />Expenditure 14565340-509270- Transfer to Capital Reserve Fund <br />WATER FUND - $130,000 - Transfer from: <br />12103938-462101-Contribution from Fund Balance/Water to <br />Expenditure 12545320-509270-Transfer to Capital Reserve Fund <br />REFUSE FUND - $130,000 - Transfer from: <br />09103938-462101-Contribution from Fund Balance/Refuse to <br />Expenditure 09425302-509270-Transfer to Capital Reserve Fund <br />REVENUE INTO CAPITAL RESERVE FUND - $390,000 <br />16103937-451510-Transfer from Refuse Fund - $130,000 <br />16103937-451520-Transfer from Water Fund - $130,000 <br />16103937-451540-Transfer from Electric Fund - $130,000 to <br />Expenditure 16577367-508140-Phys. Plant Expansion/City Hall <br /> <br />IV. CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />A. Accept and appropriate the following in the City's FY 2000- <br />2001 General Fund Budget: <br /> <br />1. $827 grant from the Department of Motor Vehicles into <br />Revenue 01101918-443310-DMV Grant for Expenditure <br />
