March 27, 2001 <br /> <br />5o <br /> <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br /> <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said <br /> <br />Session. Upon return to Open Session, Council took the following actions: <br /> <br />Appointments to various Boards/Commissions. <br />1. Council Member Dallas moved to appoint Tony L. Millner, <br /> Jr., of 141 Howard Drive, to a two-year term on the <br /> Community Criminal Justice Board, expiring February 28, <br /> 2003; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br /> following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) <br /> - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br />2. No action. <br />3. Council Member Roop moved to appoint Mitzi Prillaman <br /> Dailey, of 718 Beechnut Lane, to an incomplete four-year <br /> term on the Transportation Safety Commission, expiring <br /> December 31, 2001; the motion was duly seconded and <br /> carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote <br /> 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; <br /> Nays (0)- None. <br />4. Vice Mayor Teague moved to appoint Rebecca W. Porter, of <br /> 709 Smith Road, to an incomplete four-year term on the <br /> Drug Task Force, expiring June 30, 2003; the motion was <br /> duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all <br /> members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, <br /> Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br />5. No action. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their regular <br /> <br />meeting, upon motion by Council Member Dallas, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, <br /> <br />Mayor Crabtree declared the meeting adjourned at 9:42 P.
