25a <br /> <br />November 14, 2000 <br /> <br /> The Public Defender <br /> The Martinsville School Superintendent <br /> The Executive Director of the Martinsville-Henry County <br /> Drug Task Force <br />The Executive Director of the Piedmont Community Services <br />One Citizen of Martinsville <br />WHEREAS, the 2000 General Assembly amended Section 53.1- <br />183 of the Code of VirGinia allowing local governments authority to <br />determine the structure and number of CCJB appointments by <br />resolution or ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Martinsville Community Criminal Justice Board has <br />requested two additional positions for membership on its Board; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, <br />Virginia, in regular session assembled on November 14, 2000, that <br />the following two positions be added to the Martinsville Community <br />Criminal Justice Board pursuant to Section 53.1-183 of the Code of <br />VirGinia: <br /> The Director of Patrick Henry Day Reporting Center <br /> The Chief Probation and Parole Officer of District 22 <br /> <br />Council Member Fen'ill moved to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br /> <br />Set a Public Hearing for November 18, 2000, on the <br />proposed Enterprise Zone application to be submitted jointly <br />by the City of Martinsville and Henry County to the Virginia <br />Department of Housing and Community Development. <br />Accept and appropriate State Forfeited Asset funds in the <br />General Fund for FY2000-2001, as follows: <br />1. $557.69 into Revenue 01101917-442401 for <br /> Expenditure 01311085-506078 for the Police <br /> Department <br />2. $98.42 into Revenue 01101 917-442402 for <br /> Expenditure 01221082-506105 for the <br /> Commonwealth Attorney. <br />Accept $22,500 from the Community Development Block <br />Planning Grant for the R. P. Thomas project (Academy <br />Place) into Revenue 47101917-447045 and appropriate <br /> <br />$22,500 for Expenditure 47828501-, as follows: <br /> <br />1. $1,600 Citizens Advisory Committee 50351 0 <br />2. $4,800 Neighborhood Needs Assessment 503511 <br />3. $1,400 Hsg Rehab InspNVriteups/Cost Est. 503512 <br />4. $1,200 House Designs/Const/Financing 503513 <br />5. $8,000 Financial Analysis/Market Study 503514 <br />6. $5,500 Property Improvement Plan 503515 <br /> <br /> <br />
